“Luceo” (pronounced Loo-see-oh) comes from the Mackenzie clan Motto “Luceo Non Uro” – “Shine Not Burn”.
Every person has a fire inside of them, and it is up to us to choose how to use that fire. Do we light the path for others, making good decisions, acting with generosity and inclusivity? Or do we relentlessly pursue our goals at the cost of those around us, the environment, and our own health?
Luceo Leaders exists to help leaders and organisations tackle that paradox – how to build and grow whilst looking after themselves and those around them?

G’day! I'm Lauren Mackenzie, the founder of Luceo Leaders and a lifelong explorer of what makes great leadership. As a chartered organisational psychologist and certified leadership coach, I've spent over 15 years getting into the minds of top executives and high-performing teams across the corporate world.
My passion is helping leaders shine their brilliance without burning out. I bring a knack for cutting through the BS to have those conversations others avoid - shining light on hard truths, unsaid tensions, and opportunities for growth. With courage, care and candour, I challenge beliefs, navigate boundaries and provoke insights that transform leaders and cultures.
Beyond the boardroom, I'm an Australian currently calling the wild shores of eastern Scotland home. I'm a proud wife to an entrepreneurial husband and mum to three young firebrands who keep me grounded in what really matters. I’m a mad fan of all things sport, music, film, and fiction. I’ve travelled to more countries than my age, and speak fluent Spanish, having lived in Argentina.
Whether coaching executives one-on-one, facilitating team offsites or creating cultural renaissance in entire organisations, I believe the path to great leadership is blazed by those willing to shine light into the darkness. Whilst working with Luceo is never complicated, it is also not formulaic. You won’t find a flow-chart here because we don’t take a cookie-cutter approach. Every leadership challenge is different, and we will engage you in the scoping process in order to design your solution accordingly.
